Woto Dijital Hizmetleri A.Ş. ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application, PLOT ("the App"), collects, uses, and discloses your information.

By using PLOT, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Since PLOT does not require account registration or a login system, we do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number directly. However, we collect specific data to provide and improve our services:

1.1. Usage and Device Data

When you access the App, we automatically collect certain technical information, including but not limited to:

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (Device ID/UUID), and IP address.
• Usage Data: How you interact with the App, time spent on pages, and other diagnostic data.
• Location Data (Non-GPS): We do not request GPS permissions. However, we store the "Country" information you manually select within the App to provide streaming availability relevant to your region.

1.2. User-Generated Content & Preferences

To provide personalized movie recommendations, we store the following data linked to your device identifier:

• User Prompts: Text inputs you enter to describe the movies you are looking for.
• Movie Lists: Lists of movies you mark as "Watched," "Liked," "Disliked," or add to your "Watchlist."
• Search History: We store your past queries to allow you to view and reuse them within the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• To Provide Recommendations: Processing your prompts and preferences to generate movie suggestions.
• To Improve Our AI: We use your interaction data and prompts to refine our internal recommendation algorithms and proprietary models.
• To Maintain Service: Troubleshooting technical issues, monitoring usage trends, and preventing fraud.
• To Communicate: Sending push notifications (if you have opted in) regarding updates or new features.

3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Processing

PLOT utilizes advanced Artificial Intelligence technologies to enhance the user experience and provide accurate recommendations.

• Third-Party AI Service Providers: We utilize OpenAI API and Google Gemini as Natural Language Processing (NLP) engines.
  • Purpose of Usage: When you enter a description or a prompt, your text input is sent to these providers solely for text analysis, intent recognition, and entity extraction. We use these services to interpret your natural language requests (e.g., identifying requested genres, moods, or specific elements) to structure the query for our internal recommendation engine.
  • No External Search: These providers are not used to conduct the search of the movie database itself; they are used to understand what you are looking for so that our internal systems can find the best matches.
• Proprietary Models: The final movie selection and recommendation logic are processed by our own proprietary algorithms and models hosted on our servers.
• Data Usage: We do not allow third-party AI providers to use your personal data to train their models. Data shared with them is strictly for the purpose of processing your immediate request.

4. Third-Party Services and Data Storage

We utilize third-party service providers to facilitate our Service, perform Service-related services, or assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

• Hosting & Infrastructure: Our services and databases are hosted on Google Cloud, Heroku, and Cloudflare.
• Analytics: We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand user behavior and improve the App.
• Payment Processing: PLOT offers In-App Purchases (IAP). All payment transactions are processed securely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not store or have access to your credit card information or banking details.

5. Data Retention

We retain your search history, preferences, and device usage data as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. Since there is no user account system, if you uninstall the App or clear your device data, you may lose access to your history and saved lists, although the anonymized data may remain on our servers for analytical purposes.

6. Children’s Privacy

PLOT is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete this from our servers.

7. Your Data Rights (GDPR & KVKK)

Depending on your location (including users in the EEA and Turkey), you have rights regarding your data, including requesting access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. Since we do not hold personal accounts (email/name), we identify your data via Device ID/UUID. To exercise your rights, please contact us with your specific device details available in the App settings.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
